Welkom by die webtuiste van die skrywer, Gert Sarrisam. Gert Cornelis Engelbrecht is op 20 September 1944 op die familieplaas Sarrisam naby Wallekraal in die Sandveld aan die Weskus gebore. Sarrisam is n Namawoord wat, sover nagevors kon word, fluistering van die wind deur die riete beteken. Gert se liefde vir Namakwaland en sy mense het hom aangespoor om oor hierdie unieke landstreek en sy besonderse mense te skryf.

A new organisation has been launched that will continue some of the vision and good works of the former Idasa. Idasa announces closure and provisional liquidation idasa. But it happened only 16 days after she took office . Idasa - Institute for Democracy in Africa.

As a non-political pacifist I found If We Must Die by Stanley. It draws back the curtain on a time in the history of our country about which many South Africans. Know very little even to this day 20 years into democracy.
